Bangkok-born Guide had always dreamed of a career in hospitality, but it was the allure and excitement of bartender competitions that confirmed his true passion for the art of mixology. To win a competition—any competition—he first had to become a bartender, he thought. So, he began collecting first-hand experience at an Italian restaurant, learning everything he could about cocktails, wine, and even coffee, until he felt confident enough to work behind the bar at a full-scale cocktail venue.

As he delved deeper into the craft as a bartender at Bar Us, he fell even more in love with the creativity the job demands and the fast-paced, social environment that constantly inspires him.

When he’s not training for competitions, Guide often visits dessert shops and cafés to draw inspiration from unusual flavor pairings between sweet treats and non-alcoholic beverages—everything from cheesecake and matcha to honey and coconut water—to craft his own visually striking and eye-catching cocktails.
